Message Just thought I jump in and say how much I miss my old Z. Looking back it was a combination of being to young and impatient with my Z. It had potential, but I just didnt give it the time it needed. I sold it to someone and they got the issues quickly fixed by Bernie and then it ended up being totalled about 6-months after the deal as done.

For the two years I kept it, I managed to avoid the police and not get any tickets, I ran my first and only 13-second pass (13.8 with a bad clutch) and planted a big love that I had for the car. My mistake while owning it was thinking I needed to be generous to my sister while spoiling myself. I gave her my good condition Honda Accord beater and bought myself a nicer Audi A4 Quattro. She totalled the Accord within a few months and I sold the A4 a year later. If I would have kept my Accord I'd probably still have it and my Z because I would have avoided the low money situation I put myself in while owning the Audi and Z32 at the sametime (went from one small car payment to two when I bought the Audi).

A few cars later I bought what I felt was the best recreation of the Z32 and now I drive a G35 Coupe. IMO, its driving dynamics best mimmic a stock twin turbo and the 2+2 interior design/features reminds me more the Z32 than the 350Z does. Not to mention the wedge shape of the side profile matches the Z32 a lot more than the Z33. Overall I'm very happy with my G35 and I'm enjoying modding it to my taste.

Browsing tt.net I see there have been some awesome developments, such as some of the BDE stuff, the new Specialty-Z products, and the TwinZ rear bumper is a nice touch too. I've checked in every so often and caught wind of the fueds involving certain members/companies, but I'm still glad to see everything advancing for this platform.

I hope I can find a good example to play with down the road as I think the Z32 will be one of those cars I'll regret never getting back into when I'm older, so I'll have to find one to prevent that.

I think next summer, I'm going to try to make it to more Z32 meets and hopefully steel some of you to attend some Z/G meets in my area as well.

Here's what I gave up:

Here's what I've been playing with lately:

Always open to meeting up for some car meets in the MD/DC/VA/PA areas
